愛迪生中文學校成立於1997年, 並於當年成為中美文化協會(Chinese American Cultural Association, 簡稱CACA)的一名新成員,是一個對社區居民提供學習中文機會,並促進多元性文化發展的非營利性組織。除了中文教育,本校並致力於社區服務和中華文化的 推廣。歡迎任何有意學中文或中華文化課程的人士就讀。

學校提供課程如下:

1. 傳統中文語文課程: 從幼小班至10年級, 以注音為主和漢語拼音(從四年級班開始教授)為輔。
2. 雙語課程: 針對先前無中文漢語經驗的學生提供學習課程, 初級至進級。
3. 文化課程: 國畫, 書法, 中國結, 民族舞蹈, 及其他多項文化課。
4. 成人課程活動: 國際社教交舞, 體育活動, 及其他短期課, 及多類專業講座。

每學年於9月初開始, 下一年的6月結束, 上課約32週。 每週上課時間是星期六下午, 從12:40 到3:30 PM, 上兩節語文課, 一節文化課。

本校定期舉辦多項學術比賽及節慶活動,並有多項專題講座活動為學生家長與社區人士提供新知服務及消遣聯誼。本校也提供青少 年學生志願服務機會。又因愛迪生中文學校為中美文化協會成員,所以本校有許多與協會下其他中文學校及文化團體交流的機會。

學校行政人員包括校長,副校長,秘書,教務,財務,訓導,總務,資訊,和公關。行政管理均由熱心學生家長志願服務, 以學生利益為重。

本校目前租用在新澤西州愛迪生市的John Adams Middle School為校址 。

CACA Edison Chinese School is a non-profit organization to provide Chinese language education and promote Chinese culture awareness to the community. The school is established in 1997 in Edison as a new member organization under the Chinese American Cultural Association (CACA), a Federal and New Jersey State recognized 501(c) non-profit organization. Enrollment is open to everyone in the community.

We provide curriculum as follows:

1. Chinese language courses: For students from a Chinese-speaking background. Pre-K through 10th Grade. We teach Traditional Chinese characters, using phonetic (Zhuyin) and Pinyin (from 4th Grade).
2. CSL (Chinese as a Second Language) courses: For students from a non-Chinese speaking background. Beginners to intermediate.
3. Cultural courses: Chinese Painting, Calligraphy, Chinese Knotting, Chinese Dance, and more.
4. Adult programs: Ballroom dance, sports, short-term courses, and seminars.

The school year starts in September and ends in June of the following year, with about 32 school weeks. Classes are held on Saturdays from 12:40 to 3:30 PM. The first two periods are for the Language lessons, and the third period is for the Cultural lessons.

The school holds regular academic contests and festival celebration. We also provide many interesting and useful seminars for the student parents and the community residents. There is also a youth volunteer program for the high school students. Because of its CACA membership, the school enjoys plenty opportunities to interact with other CACA schools and cultural organizations.

CACA Edison Chinese School's administrative members include Principal, Vice Principal, Secretary, Dean, Treasurer, Director of Security and Discipline, Director of General Affair, Director of Information, and Director of Public Relations. All the administrative members are volunteers and student parents.

Currently the school rents the John Adam Middle School facility in Edison, New Jersey.
